Director, AI Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting agentic AI solutions tailored for specific business use cases and workflows.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and domain experts to comprehend requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.

• Manage daily engineering operations for AI initiatives that are forward deployed, including planning, prioritization, delivery, and readiness for operations.

• Ensure that AI solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and conform to enterprise architecture, engineering standards, and governance regulations.

• Facilitate the integration of AI solutions with business systems, data sources, and operational processes to enable seamless end-to-end workflows.

• Track solution performance, user feedback, and operational results to identify improvements, address issues, and promote continuous enhancement.

• Work alongside platform, data, infrastructure, and security teams to utilize shared capabilities and ensure compliant, efficient deployment.

• Report progress, technical decisions, risks, and business impacts to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, ideally in business, engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in AI engineering, showcasing a strong history in leading product strategy, roadmap development, and delivery for complex digital, data, or AI-enabled products.

• Proven experience in AI and data-driven product environments, including the ability to translate business needs into scalable product solutions and closely partner with technical teams to introduce innovative products to the market.

• Strong leadership skills across multiple functions, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Innovation, Design, Data Science, Commercial, and other business teams to ensure alignment and execution.

• Experience in managing and mentoring product managers or junior product leaders, including providing coaching, support for prioritization, and promoting strong product management practices.

• Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills, with the capability to assess opportunities, make informed trade-offs, and clearly articulate product vision, priorities, and outcomes.
