Director, AI Architecture – Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Establish and guide the enterprise AI architecture strategy.

• Create and uphold reference architectures.

• Offer architectural leadership for AI platforms developed on AWS.

• Spearhead the assessment, selection, and integration of large language models.

• Collaborate with business, product, and technology leaders to design AI use cases.

• Develop and enforce AI governance frameworks.

• Define and supervise AI cybersecurity architecture.

• Provide architectural advice for AI-enabled applications.

• Facilitate AI lifecycle management practices.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions align with standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business or related disciplines is required.

• An advanced degree is strongly preferred.

• 8-12 years of relevant experience is required.

• Expert functional skills are necessary.

• Advanced industry knowledge and experience are essential.

• Strong managerial skills are required.

• Ability to manage multiple teams or functions.

• Strategic and operational decision-making authority is needed.

• Capability to handle highly complex and managerial tasks.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
