This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive funding strategy that enhances both program initiatives and the sustainability of the organization.
• Manage Digital Moment’s various revenue streams, including government funding, philanthropy, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
• Establish and track annual funding goals, monitor the health of the revenue pipeline, and create growth plans.
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance to facilitate revenue forecasting, budget planning, and transparency in the funding pipeline.
• Cultivate strong relationships and create concept notes and proposals to secure funding from provincial and federal government sources.
• Keep abreast of funding trends, public priorities, and budget changes to identify opportunities that align with Digital Moment’s mission.
• Foster and maintain long-term partnerships with funders, partners, and supporters to enhance both program impact and operational sustainability.
• Ensure that Digital Moment employs a robust stewardship approach to strengthen relationships with existing funders and partners while generating new opportunities.
• Manage external initiatives that establish Digital Moment as a leader in digital education and AI literacy.
• Extensive experience in fundraising, partnerships, external relations, business development, or growth leadership within a nonprofit, educational, youth-serving, or mission-driven organization.
• Proven expertise in securing and managing government funding, philanthropic support, corporate sponsorships, or strategic partnerships.
• Track record of successfully building long-term stakeholder relationships and converting them into sustainable revenue or strategic value.
• Excellent strategic, written, and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing, concept notes, and executive-level relationship management.
• Experience collaborating across functions with finance, programs, project management, and communications teams.
• Strong data and systems orientation, encompassing CRM discipline, pipeline management, and revenue tracking.
• Ability to balance strategic thought with practical execution.
