Direct Bill Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Ensuring the precise and timely handling of direct bill statements and deposits.

• Collaborating closely with account teams and service leaders.

• Aiding in the examination and resolution of transaction discrepancies and reconciliation issues.

• Effectively communicating with carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company policies and contractual obligations.

• Maintaining documentation related to payments and reconciliations.

• Working together with other members of the Direct Bill team and the Direct Bill Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in the insurance industry.

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education/experience.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize high-volume and time-sensitive transactions.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• High level of professional communication and diplomatic negotiation skills.

• Familiarity with Applied Epic, Vertafore BenefitPoint, Ascend, and other direct bill reconciliation platforms is a plus.
