This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Recognize trending gaming and social moments and transform them into captivating digital video content.
β’ Work collaboratively with both internal and external teams to produce and disseminate videos that engage new audiences.
β’ Examine performance metrics to suggest improvements that enhance viewer engagement.
β’ Effectively oversee production timelines to ensure timely delivery of projects.
β’ Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices to foster continuous enhancement across ESPN platforms, including YouTube.
β’ Background in digital and social media with experience in video production and content creation.
β’ Proficiency with non-linear editing software such as Premiere, Final Cut, Avid, Quantel, or After Effects.
β’ Strong understanding of current sports storylines, including key teams, players, and cultural events.
β’ Ability to monitor and analyze social media trends.
β’ Expertise in headline crafting and content packaging, along with a grasp of effective distribution strategies.
β’ Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently and produce precise work in a dynamic production environment.
β’ Preference for candidates in their senior year majoring in Communications, Journalism, Sports Media, or a related field.
