This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Transform existing manuscripts and previously published materials into slide presentations using the Edwin Content Studio WYSIWYG editor.

• Adhere to established style guides to ensure consistency in layout, design, and messaging.

• Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to enhance content as necessary.

• Format Word and PDF documents in accordance with established style guides.

• Insert and validate metadata within the Edwin CMS.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project managers to collect requirements and guarantee content aligns with intended objectives.

• Comprehend and adhere to guidelines regarding accessibility, web compatibility, and rights and permissions, as well as file preparation standards.

• Take into account aspects such as heading levels, color contrast, alt text, and other accessibility features during the content creation process.

• Generate simple line art to meet digital specifications.

• Employ project management tools to monitor progress, manage tasks, and adhere to project deadlines.

• Keep files and work assignments organized to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to digital assets.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, implement enhancements, and revise content based on user requirements.

• Address and resolve issues that arise throughout the production process.

• Prepare quality assurance products and assets.

• Provide support and maintenance for products post-launch.


⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of UI and web design principles.

• Strong creative and design capabilities with a sharp eye for aesthetics and visual details.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with Jira, SmartSheet, and other project management tools is advantageous.

• Knowledge of accessibility principles.

• Excellent organizational abilities to effectively manage files and work assignments.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with SMEs and project managers.

• Capacity to multitask and prioritize assignments to meet project deadlines.

• Proficient time management skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Exceptional English spelling, grammar, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
