Digital Product Expert – SME Onboarding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The Proxy Product Owner collaborates with the Product Owner and technical teams to ensure the effective implementation of project standards while efficiently communicating any changes.

• Responsible for the detailed design of solutions, which includes functional specifications, use cases, interfaces, and workflows.

• Conduct analyses to define requirements, specifications, business processes, and provide recommendations related to the proposed solution.

• Build relationships with stakeholders through a comprehensive understanding of the business domain.

• Act as the business representative when interacting with project stakeholders, maintaining a regular on-site presence.

• Work in close collaboration with Agile development teams.

• Utilize technical expertise and experience to lead all sprint events with the digital squad.

• Oversee the management of the product backlog and roadmap.

• Collect requirements, define functionality, and establish goals in a clear, actionable format to facilitate product delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers, product designers, engineers, governance, compliance, and other internal units.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical project delivery.

• Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into user needs, along with experience in data engineering, data science, or software engineering.

• A technical background in development or testing is advantageous.

• Preferred qualifications include a background in engineering, technology, or UX.

• Previous experience as a Proxy Product Owner or Product Manager with software products.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Excellent negotiation and leadership capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a high level of comfort in engaging with senior leadership.

• A strong collaborator, team player, and capable individual contributor.

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.

• Proven capacity to think strategically as well as tactically.

• Ability to foster trust and rapport, creating a comfortable and effective workplace.

• A passion for innovation and a proactive “can do” attitude.

• Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
