This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• This role focuses on developing innovative and user-friendly consumer health solutions.
• The position collaborates closely with design leadership, other UI/UX designers, and both front-end and back-end developers/engineers.
• Responsibilities include transforming initial concepts into fully realized products, significantly enhancing our patient and consumer experience by exploring new emotional connections, building trust, and fostering enduring relationships.
• Efficiently prioritizes and manages tasks to meet critical project deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Translates whiteboard sketches into high-fidelity digital experiences across various platforms including responsive web, native mobile, voice, and emerging digital solutions.
• Creates modern and accessible digital experiences by producing user studies, user flows, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, annotations, and other essential deliverables.
• Designs user experiences aligned with the project’s business and user requirements while effectively communicating the UX strategy.
• Articulates conceptual ideas and design rationale successfully.
• Works collaboratively with managers, front-end developers, software engineers, and fellow designers to translate the brand and Banner services into engaging interactive experiences.
• Develops and maintains interactive style guides, design systems, and enterprise standards to ensure a consistent experience across digital products.
• Represents a strong and supportive creative perspective within the organization.
• This position is tasked with the design and development of system learning products and projects, with the autonomy to determine the best methods for accomplishing functions within established procedures, while consulting with a supervisor on any atypical situations.
• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education is required.
• A deep understanding of operations in relevant areas of responsibility, typically acquired through over three years in the interactive design industry.
• Requires more than three years of experience in product design (e.g., responsive web, native apps, and interactive displays) along with brand marketing (e.g., campaigns, social media).
• A portfolio showcasing a blend of UX and UI skills, with experience designing across multiple devices (responsive web, native, etc.), is essential.
• Capable of thriving in a creative and collaborative environment.
• Experience in working with engineering teams and familiarity with Agile product development is necessary.
• Proficient in various low- and high-fidelity prototyping techniques, with the ability to determine the most suitable techniques for different situations.
• Expertise in graphic design, web frameworks, and systems design.
• Familiarity with modern design tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Suite.
• Understanding of how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript function is required.
