Digital Pathology Sales Specialist, EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Evident’s Digital Pathology customer network within the region, driving growth in line with company objectives.

• Collaborate with team members within a matrixed management structure.

• Create and implement strategic sales initiatives to increase the company’s market presence in digital pathology within the region.

• Assess customer interest and requirements, identifying various decision-makers and stakeholders, while understanding and mapping their technical, operational, and financial needs.

• Present Evident’s digital pathology solutions to prospective clients through engaging presentations or straightforward product demonstrations, emphasizing the advantages of transitioning to digital workflows, and showcasing how the Evident solution aligns with customers' current and future aspirations.

• Meet and surpass sales targets by developing a strong pipeline of potential clients and securing new business: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, comprehending their pathology workflows and offering customized solutions to fulfill their specific needs.

• Work alongside specialist teams and partners to conduct product demonstrations, facilitate discussions on workflow and integration, test application/AI analyses, present Evident’s solution and ROI, plan implementation, training, and post-sales support, and assist with tender processes.

• Respond to customer inquiries, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the sales journey.

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in the digital pathology sector.

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective sales and support services.

• Participate in conferences and congresses with local thought leaders and key opinion leaders (KOLs), coordinating product demonstrations, reference site visits, installations, and customer training as needed.

• Collaborate with customer care, technical support, and service teams to ensure seamless post-sales implementation and ongoing support.

• Keep precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales opportunities within the SFDC system.

• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the regional sales manager and engage in sales meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or similar) or equivalent experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in digital pathology, medical devices, healthcare IT software, or life sciences.

• Demonstrated leadership presence and business acumen with a solid understanding of digital pathology systems and their software applications in both clinical and research environments.

• Proven track record of success in previous sales roles, utilizing consultative selling techniques, combined with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

• Strong presence and communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver impactful group presentations.

• Skills in negotiation, contracting, and problem-solving.

• Preferred: Experience in Histopathology or a related field.

• Experience in the Digital Pathology industry.

• Sales experience in medical devices or other IVD regulated products.

• Clinical laboratory sales experience, particularly in healthcare IT.

• Background in IT or technology sales.

• Experience with strategic selling or managing large accounts.
