This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main authority on brand guidelines and voice settings within the technology merchandising platform, ensuring all produced content aligns with brand standards.
• Analyze competitor ecommerce experiences and emerging AI merchandising trends to enhance platform strategies and update rule sets.
• Create and document best practices for configuring and sustaining merchandising outputs across all sales channels.
• Manage the complete product cataloging process using the technology platform to enhance and build product listings.
• Ensure that products are accurately configured, live on-site, and optimized for visibility and conversion, including thorough and precise product attributes, images, categorization, and metadata.
• Establish, document, and continually enhance brand voice guidelines, tone specifications, and content rules to be integrated into the platform, ensuring consistency across all consumer interactions.
• Utilize analytics and reporting dashboards to assess content performance, pinpoint opportunities for rule optimization, and enhance merchandising results across product categories and sales channels.
• Conduct weekly evaluations of product and category content to confirm accuracy, brand alignment, and business relevance; adjust platform rules and inputs as necessary.
• Configure and oversee product featuring, sorting logic, and promotional rules across all digital sales channels.
• Collaborate with UX and development teams to implement data-driven navigation and taxonomy suggestions that enhance discoverability and conversion.
• Review, edit, and approve product and website copy, providing constructive feedback to refine brand rules within the platform and ensure outputs meet conversion and SEO objectives.
• Uphold catalog data integrity across all channels, ensuring that inputs for AI tools (product attributes, metadata, categorization) are precise and current.
• Regularly review outputs on the site, identify errors or off-brand content, report findings, and work with technical teams to refine platform rules and enhance overall user experience and conversion.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ecommerce or retail environment; experience with AI tools, content management systems, or merchandising platforms is highly preferred.
• Comfortable with learning and adopting new technology platforms; prior experience with AI-powered tools, prompt configuration, or rules-based content systems is advantageous.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Strong copywriting and editorial skills with the ability to critically assess AI-generated content and establish rules that yield on-brand results.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
