• Develop creative concepts, write, edit, and proofread content for campaigns and various digital platforms.
• Actively engages with Latino pop culture, internet memes, TikTok trends, and political discussions. Possesses a broad interest in cultural subjects such as music, films, gaming, sports, and beauty, along with a strong awareness of political matters.
• Familiar with narrative perspectives and adept at utilizing tone, humor, and visual storytelling to convey political or cultural messages in video content.
• Proficient in crafting "amplifier" voices that resonate authentically, avoiding corporate or overly advocacy-driven tones.
• Passionate about experimenting with new formats (e.g., carousel posts, short clips, skits, reaction videos, subtitled news segments, etc.).
• Experience in front of the camera as a host or personality, delivering energy and authenticity in content.
• Data-driven content strategist who evaluates watch time, retention, and engagement, adjusting strategies on a weekly basis.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in editing and producing videos for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
• Proficient in CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar video editing software.
• Experience with sound synchronization, subtitles, memes, and pacing for storytelling to enhance viewer retention.
• Knowledgeable in creating native-feeling videos: including jump cuts, text overlays, duets, stitches, trending formats, and reaction videos.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and adaptability skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
• A collaborative team player who communicates transparently and is dedicated to contributing throughout all project phases.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with required native-level speaking and writing abilities in Spanish.
• Flexibility for work-life balance: Unlike many organizations, we genuinely believe in a 40-hour workweek, with occasional sprints that may require additional hours. We trust everyone to create a schedule that suits them, provided they attend all essential meetings. Prefer to work more on one day and less on another? That’s perfectly fine. If you’re more productive at night than during the day, that works too. Need to adjust your hours to pick up your child from school? No problem.
• Comprehensive health care available from the start of your employment, with individual premiums fully covered and cost-sharing options for dependents. Vision and dental plans are accessible at individual cost.
• Enjoy 15 paid vacation days, 6 paid holidays, 3 paid floating holidays, and 7.5 paid sick days annually.
• Professional development funds provided, with renewal each fiscal year.
• Reimbursement for cell phone and internet expenses (or co-working space): We recognize that working from home involves using your personal internet and phone, so we offer a fixed reimbursement for these services. If remote work isn’t suitable for you, we also provide an option to rent a co-working space and cover those monthly costs.
• Educational loan assistance based on need after 3 months of employment.
• 401K contributions and matching program available at the start of your employment.
• Annual office closure during the final week of December.
