Digital Marketing Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire planning, execution, and delivery for numerous simultaneous, multi-month initiatives within the Enterprise portfolio.

• Develop and uphold project plans, milestones, workback schedules, and delivery forecasts; ensure these plans are up-to-date and actionable.

• Oversee and manage scope, schedule, and quality; proactively identify risks and address issues to keep delivery on course.

• Monitor and control deliverables, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and change impacts; escalate promptly when timelines, scope, or quality are jeopardized.

• Negotiate timelines, resources, and scope as necessary to ensure project success.

• Lead task and backlog grooming sessions to clarify work items, validate acceptance criteria, identify gaps, and ensure readiness for forthcoming cycles.

• Manage dependencies, adjust deadlines, and reassign tasks as needed to maintain a real-time overview of execution and delivery health.

• Propel follow-through with team members and stakeholders to eliminate blockers, gather inputs, and sustain momentum.

• Act as the primary coordination point across global, cross-functional partners to facilitate timely decisions and clear visibility of status.

• Foster stakeholder engagement and collaboration; proactively address concerns, overcome obstacles, and ensure alignment.

• Conduct working sessions as required and provide clear, concise updates for leadership and stakeholders (progress, risks, changes, decisions needed, next steps).

• Establish and communicate project success metrics to promote transparency, alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Set and uphold “project hygiene” standards (status updates, task ownership, documentation, dependency tracking).

• Ensure accurate project data and reporting to provide a single source of truth for scope, schedule, resources, and overall project health.

• Assist in intake, prioritization, forecasting, and capacity planning in collaboration with team leadership.

• Identify, lead, and implement process improvement initiatives (workflows, templates, governance) to enhance throughput and predictability over time.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by ensuring the team has the necessary resources, information, and procedures to operate effectively.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Cencora’s business operations; navigate cross-departmental initiatives efficiently.

• Represent the customer and stakeholder perspective throughout project delivery to ensure outcomes align with business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of experience in digital program or project management, or a related business field, preferably within a marketing or enterprise organization environment.

• Strong grasp of digital project management principles, fundamentals, and methodologies.

• Solid understanding of digital experience, marketing principles, and strategies.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

• Proficient with digital project management tools and software, such as Smartsheet, Adobe Workfront, and Microsoft 365 Product Suite.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a diverse, multidisciplinary team.

• Familiarity with healthcare solutions is an advantage.

• Capacity to focus on multiple digital programs and projects, with the flexibility to reprioritize as necessary.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities, with good judgment for escalating issues as needed.

• Collaborative, low-ego mindset with a positive attitude and openness, encouraging team members to take responsibility for their roles.
