Digital Marketing Coordinator – Islamic Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the Devon Islamic Finance marketing calendar, overseeing everything from planning to execution.

• Develop campaigns targeting Muslim homebuyers, business proprietors, community organizations, and referral partners.

• Transform customer inquiries regarding Shariah-compliant financing into published materials.

• Assist in expanding into new states and metropolitan areas with tailored landing pages, advertisements, and outreach efforts.

• Monitor inquiry sources through finalized financings and evaluate channel performance.

• Suggest, implement, and report on marketing experiments.

• Oversee and enhance the presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

• Create graphics, videos, stories, reels, and promotional campaigns.

• Track audience engagement and reply to comments and messages.

• Design, schedule, and manage email campaigns, newsletters, promotional emails, event invitations, and automated communications.

• Ensure email list integrity and audience segmentation.

• Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns on Meta, Google Ads, and other digital platforms.

• Supervise advertising expenditures and recommend budget reallocations across channels.

• Maintain marketing analytics and reporting dashboards.

• Update and manage content on the WordPress website, including landing pages, event pages, blog posts, and promotional materials.

• Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, update metadata, and revise content.

• Assess site performance and user experience.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors for website-related tasks.

• Facilitate financial education seminars, workshops, webinars, and community outreach activities.

• Create event registration pages, promotional materials, and communications for events.

• Assist with event logistics, photography, and follow-up marketing efforts.

• Attend selected community events and industry conferences.

• Design flyers, brochures, presentations, signage, and digital advertisements.

• Edit and create photography, video content, and graphics.

• Ensure brand consistency and route content for compliance review.

• Monitor promotional material inventory and manage print, fulfillment, and shipping vendors.

• Organize brand assets, source files, and version histories.

• Report directly to the Head of Devon Islamic Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• Two to five years of marketing experience is preferred.

• Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization.

• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or similar.

• Proficiency in using WordPress for website updates and content management.

• Basic understanding of search optimization practices and digital marketing analytics.

• Knowledge of Meta Ads and Google Ads.

• Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

• Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication abilities.

• Skill in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote role without daily supervision.

• Familiarity with the Muslim consumer market through previous marketing roles, Muslim community organizations, or similar experience.

• A working knowledge of Islamic finance principles is preferred.

• Background in mortgage, banking, or other regulated financial services is preferred.

• Residing in Southern California, or able to work Pacific hours with regular overlap with Central time is preferred.

• Capability to discuss personally managed marketing campaigns and the measurable results achieved.
