This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Collaborate with essential stakeholders to develop and enhance the AM structure and processes associated with digital manufacturing, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching productivity and advanced manufacturing objectives.
• Identify, prioritize, and oversee digital manufacturing opportunities to foster ongoing improvement.
• Partner with plants to outline and define AM projects that involve plant systems, data platforms, analytics, and IT/OT integration, leveraging subject matter experts (SMEs) both internally and externally as necessary.
• Work alongside key stakeholders to refine plant roadmaps, ensuring coherence between digital platforms and physical automation initiatives.
• Implement comprehensive project management methodologies, incorporating risk management and change management practices.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of a portfolio of digital manufacturing projects, from initiation through to completion.
• Collaborate closely with plant contacts, digital specialists, IT teams, and external partners to track project progress and proactively resolve issues or risks.
• Monitor and evaluate project cadence, reporting, and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate pilot initiatives for new digital manufacturing technologies and platforms.
• Engage with key stakeholders to identify preferred vendors and categories for digital manufacturing technologies.
• Serve as the primary technology steward for plant-level digital systems, including MES, WMS, CMMS, historians, data visualization platforms, and integration frameworks.
• Identify use cases for emerging digital technologies (such as AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics) and collaborate with physical automation counterparts to facilitate closed-loop and data-driven solutions.
• Mentor plant leaders and engineers on digital manufacturing topics, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Develop and assist local digital and data specialists to enhance their technical and delivery capabilities.
• Provide expert subject matter support to plants regarding digital manufacturing systems, data architecture, and integration methodologies.
• Represent the needs of plants and countries concerning digital manufacturing to the central team and other functions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and coordinate specialist vendors and partners delivering digital platforms and services.
• Establish and maintain processes to monitor the performance, resilience, and cybersecurity of plant digital systems.
• Manage processes for standardization, scalability, and lifecycle management of digital manufacturing platforms across plants.
• 10-15+ years of experience in manufacturing, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 transformation positions.
• Strong leadership experience, encompassing plant, digital, or cross-functional team management.
• Proven success in creating and leading effective digital manufacturing or systems integration projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; fluent in English.
• Additional languages are advantageous.
• Comprehensive understanding of plant systems, data architectures, and IT/OT convergence.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical competencies.
• Proficient in project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset, with the capability to navigate ambiguity and change proactively.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
