This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take full ownership of all event-related activities for the Company, including industry events, tradeshows, conferences, small luncheons, and thought leadership discussions.
• Manage all digital event initiatives such as webinars and podcasts, including serving as the company’s representative for these engagements.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to convert booth space and badge scans into meetings, opportunities, and closed deals.
• Attend all events in person, responsible for setting up and dismantling booths, troubleshooting on-site, and ensuring our presence is professional from start to finish.
• Prepare team members attending events with clear objectives, talking points, target accounts, and logistics to ensure everyone is informed and ready.
• Drive sales pipeline by partnering with the sales team to schedule pre-show meetings, organize dinners and customer events on-site, and ensure prompt follow-up on all leads.
• Collaborate with marketing on email campaigns, landing pages, paid promotions, and social media efforts to boost booth traffic and meeting bookings prior to the event.
• Oversee event budgets throughout the year by tracking expenses, accurately forecasting, identifying risks in advance, and making informed trade-off decisions when priorities change.
• Establish clear KPIs for each event (leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI) and create detailed post-event reports that evaluate successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in a B2B or technology setting.
• Proven experience in orchestrating events from start to finish, even on a smaller scale, with concrete examples of successful shows you managed.
• Proficient in managing an events budget, with skills in forecasting, expense tracking, and making strategic trade-offs to enhance ROI.
• Ability to define KPIs and develop reports that link event activities to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
• A genuine interest in AI and its application to work more efficiently. You can provide examples of specific projects, tools, or workflows where you've utilized AI to streamline your efforts as an events marketer (e.g., research, vendor outreach, post-event reporting, content creation, lead enrichment, etc.). This is essential.
• Basic familiarity with HubSpot on the CRM side; we will manage the rest.
• Strong project management skills, ensuring oversight of timelines, budgets, vendors, and numerous moving parts without losing focus.
• Comfortable negotiating with vendors and event organizers to secure optimal terms.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You can effectively motivate a team, brief executives, and engage prospects on the show floor with equal proficiency.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure. Events can present unexpected challenges, and you excel in problem-solving on the spot.
• Willingness and capability to travel 30 to 50% during peak event seasons across North America, with potential opportunities for European travel as we grow.
