Digital Delivery Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Define the BIM/VDC requirements at the program level in collaboration with owners, design teams, and contractors.

• Convert owner objectives into precise BIM/VDC program specifications.

• Create and uphold the Digital Delivery Framework for each program, encompassing standards, expectations, workflows, and governance rules.

• Establish documentation standards, naming conventions, file structures, LOD matrix, and model auditing processes.

• Set up and manage the Common Data Environment (ACC/BIM360), including permissions, workflows, coordination model structure, and milestone gates.

• Conduct BIM/VDC assessments and evaluations of existing project conditions.

• Act as the main contact for owners regarding all matters related to the Digital Delivery Program.

• Facilitate the alignment of owner objectives, design intent, fabrication needs, and field execution requirements.

• Document decisions, requirements, and constraints affecting digital delivery.

• Review and validate VDC scope expectations with design partners, trade contractors, and owner consultants.

• Coordinate with third-party BIM/VDC vendors to ensure adherence to program standards.

• Oversee the implementation of all VEC Digital Delivery scopes at the program level.

• Maintain oversight on timelines, risks, resource requirements, and upstream/downstream dependencies.

• Monitor compliance with program-wide standards, workflows, and owner requirements.

• Facilitate periodic program reviews, alignment meetings, and reporting to ownership teams.

• Define the necessary technology stack for digital delivery (ACC, scanning, point layout, coordination tools, parameters, metadata structure, etc.).

• Assist in the development of digital twin requirements and asset data structures.

• Maintain a knowledge base for the program, including templates and lessons learned to ensure repeatability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in BIM/VDC, digital delivery, or design-construction program management.

• Strong comprehension of construction processes, coordination workflows, and digital ecosystems.

• Experience collaborating directly with owners, developers, or significant capital program stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to establish BIM/VDC standards, digital execution plans, and cross-disciplinary frameworks.

• Proficiency in ACC/BIM360, Navisworks, Revit, model federation, scanning/point clouds, and CDE governance.

• Capability to work across multiple service lines, manage risks, and provide clarity in ambiguous scenarios.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to convert technical data into actionable guidance for both executives and field teams.
