This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +2 more states.
• Support the daily management of program websites, including the creation of visual and written content, ensuring that high-quality information is consistently disseminated across digital platforms.
• Supervise and assess the posting activities and overall performance of email and social media channels.
• Collaborate with State Digital Program Managers to address state-specific content requests and urgent response requirements.
• Keep track of and maintain press clips across various states.
• Develop graphic and video content to boost online engagement among volunteers and voters.
• Manage a content calendar to guarantee timely updates that align with organizational priorities.
• Observe the social media landscape to identify key messengers and influential figures across various platforms.
• Monitor emerging digital trends to shape content strategy and ensure authentic and engaging communication with our audience.
• Work collaboratively across departments to integrate digital initiatives with organizing efforts, including projects that bridge online engagement with offline activities.
• A minimum of 2 campaign cycles or years of relevant experience in digital content creation, which includes strong graphic design and video editing skills, and/or 2 years of related training or education.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, with a preference for Canva experience.
• Strong strategic thinking abilities to align digital initiatives with overall campaign objectives.
• Proven interest in digital organizing efforts, including peer-to-peer texting, distributed events, and relational organizing.
• Established interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where goals and priorities change quickly.
