This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Act as the customer's advocate by analyzing usage data, engaging in customer calls, and spearheading NPS follow-up initiatives.
• Convert customer feedback and behavioral insights into implementable portfolio and product strategies.
• Observe and evaluate the U.S. legal market and competitive landscape, including established publishers, legal tech platforms, startups, and alternative providers, to pinpoint trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform continuous competitive and market analysis to guide portfolio priorities and investment choices.
• Evaluate LexisNexis’ competitive standing by practice area and identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, and content expansion.
• Discover and assess licensing and acquisition prospects.
• Collaborate with international colleagues (UK, Canada, and more) to exchange insights and unlock cross-border content and commercialization opportunities.
• Assist in directing the strategic trajectory of the U.S. secondary content portfolio, ensuring it provides authoritative, high-quality content that aligns with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Guarantee that content supports AI applications (e.g., Protégé grounding and answer quality), including coverage, authoritative sourcing, rights clearance, and comprehensive metadata.
• Work closely with Product teams to enhance AI content retrieval, accuracy, and user experience.
• Create and propose annual content development plans for proprietary titles.
• Review and assess author proposals for new titles and updates to existing content, ensuring they align with portfolio strategy and market demand.
• Collaborate with Editorial Operations on Content Development plans for proprietary and licensed content, including online placement, packaging, and pricing.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Editorial Operations to formulate and implement go-to-market strategies.
• Lead essential go-to-market efforts, including content development updates, product launches, and sales training.
• Support participation in conferences, author engagement, and promotion of authoritative brands and titles.
• Ensure clear value positioning and messaging that distinguishes our secondary content in a competitive market to enhance adoption and customer preference.
• Ensure adherence to rights, licensing, and internal governance standards, including the approval of sources for AI usage.
• Collaborate with Legal and Editorial teams on licensing terms and content utilization.
• Support financial performance by aligning portfolio choices with revenue and profitability objectives.
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing preferred.
• Over 6 years of experience in practicing law or working in legal publishing, legal technology, or a related field.
• Strong comprehension of the U.S. legal market and attorney workflows.
• Experience in content strategy, product management, or portfolio management is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to utilize data and customer insights to inform strategic choices.
• Familiarity with AI-driven legal research tools and digital content platforms is preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills, with the capacity to write effectively and succinctly.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized, self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
