Digital Consulting Manager – Microsoft Fabric Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create and implement cloud analytic solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure services, Fabric workloads, and other related technologies.

• Ensure compliance with best practices and standards regarding security, scalability, reliability, performance, and compliance.

• Document and convey solution architectures to both internal and external stakeholders effectively.

• Develop and enhance frameworks and tools for solution delivery, including guardrails, automated reviews, and the creation of accelerators.

• Offer technical leadership and guidance to business areas, technology partners, and other domain specialists.

• Oversee project delivery workstreams and manage teams.

• Guide and support other cloud engineers and developers through mentorship and coaching.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud computing, ideally with Microsoft Azure.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and features, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, and more.

• Strong familiarity with Fabric workloads and features such as Power BI, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Model, Data Factory, Data Flow, Notebooks, Data Activator, Reflex, Deployment Pipelines, Workspace, and Apps.

• Proficient in cloud architecture design patterns and principles, including microservices and serverless architectures.

• Experience in cloud migration, integration, and deployment processes.

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Engineer, Power BI Data Analyst, or Azure Data Scientist.
