This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Manages and oversees the DAM platform, executing updates, configurations, and optimizations to enhance performance.
• Addresses user issues and collaborates with ITS Product teams for escalations and technical improvements.
• Supervises the ongoing ingestion and organization of assets, ensuring that duplicates, non-compliant items, and outdated content are appropriately removed.
• Administers user permissions, access controls, and the security of assets.
• Upholds and implements standards for metadata, taxonomy, and controlled vocabulary to maintain a consistent asset structure.
• Develops and spearheads DAM governance strategies that align with the objectives of enterprise content management.
• Performs data quality assessments to ensure metadata accuracy and consistency, identifying areas needing enhancement.
• Reviews, assesses, and validates AI-generated tags for relevance and precision.
• Designs and optimizes workflows covering the entire asset lifecycle, including ingestion, tagging, rights management, version control, delivery, expiration, and archiving.
• Continuously assesses workflow efficiency, pinpointing opportunities to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
• Creates and maintains analytics dashboards and reports to monitor asset usage, discoverability, creative reuse, and distribution trends.
• Provides insights and recommendations that inform content strategy, marketing activation, and operational decision-making.
• Develops training materials, documentation, and best-practice guidelines to assist end users, creators, and partners.
• Conducts training sessions and onboarding for new users to ensure consistent and effective utilization of the DAM.
• Clearly and proactively communicates updates, governance guidelines, system enhancements, and workflow modifications.
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams—including marketing, ITS, creative, and content production—to ensure the DAM evolves in response to organizational needs.
• Assesses emerging technologies, integrations, and AI/ML advancements that enhance DAM capabilities.
• Serves as a subject-matter expert on how DAM facilitates personalization, omnichannel content strategies, and creative operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Digital Media, Marketing Operations, Library Science, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Digital Asset Management, content operations, marketing technology, or comparable roles.
• Practical experience with DAM platforms, metadata structures, and asset lifecycle processes.
• Strong grasp of metadata, taxonomy development, and controlled vocabularies.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and integrations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Interest or experience in applying AI/ML tools within DAM environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven success in a matrixed, cross-functional setting.
