Digital Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the comprehensive architecture for web and mobile applications, covering front-end, back-end, integration, and infrastructure components.

• Convert business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical architectures.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that architectural choices facilitate seamless, intuitive, and accessible user experiences.

• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices for both web and mobile platforms.

• Lead technology assessments and provide recommendations for building or purchasing frameworks, tools, and platforms.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring the high-quality and consistent implementation of architectural designs.

• Work alongside cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Design) to align technical solutions with business objectives.

• Perform architecture reviews, conduct performance audits, and carry out risk assessments on various projects.

• Promote the adoption of modern development practices such as microservices, API-first design, responsive/adaptive design, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture.

• Guarantee that solutions fulfill requirements for performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and compatibility across devices and browsers.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends in web, mobile, and UX technologies, and proactively suggest enhancements.

• Assist in pre-sales, client presentations, or stakeholder discussions by providing architectural vision and technical thought leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in software architecture, particularly focused on web and mobile platforms.

• A proven history of architecting and delivering large-scale, high-traffic web and mobile applications from start to finish.

• Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and the capacity to connect technical architecture with design thinking.

• Practical expertise with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and mobile development methodologies (native, hybrid, or cross-platform like React Native/Flutter).

• Solid experience in back-end architecture, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure).

• Comprehensive knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser/device compatibility.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and contemporary software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum).

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills — capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Proven leadership in mentoring engineering teams and enforcing architectural governance.

• **Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience in consulting, digital agency, or product organizations serving enterprise clients.

• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.

• Exposure to performance optimization, security architecture, and scalability planning for high-traffic platforms.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are advantageous.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
