This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Leadership and implementation of advanced GA4 tracking setups, including GA4 Enhanced E-Commerce Tracking.
• Development and maintenance of GTM configurations (both client-side and server-side).
• Application of Google Consent Mode.
• Ensuring CMP integration in compliance with GDPR and compatibility with analytics and marketing tools (no legal expertise required, though experience is advantageous).
• Providing analytics consulting for our German-speaking clients.
• Collaborating with our English-speaking internal tech support team to establish, challenge, and optimize tracking setups.
• Assisting with data integration using BigQuery and Looker Studio (including support from specialists).
• General technical support in the field of digital analytics and MarTech.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in digital analytics, ideally with advanced knowledge in GA4, GTM, and CMPs – experience with Shopify is a plus.
• Background in a relevant online marketing area (e.g., SEA, SMA, or display advertising).
• Experience with server-side GTM is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of GDPR and its implications for tracking.
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other Google Cloud tools.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript (e.g., event handling, dataLayer manipulation).
• Ability to provide consulting to clients in German and communicate fluently in English with our internal team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach in a technical environment.
