
Digital Analyst – Coveo Search & Merchandising Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Manage the daily administration of the Coveo platform, covering environment setup, user access, pipelines, and governance.
• Set up and oversee search relevance and merchandising rules, including boosting, burying, pinning, synonyms, redirects, triggers, and partial-match behavior.
• Oversee query pipelines, ranking strategies, facets, filters, and result behaviors to meet business and customer experience goals.
• Monitor, assess, and enhance search performance utilizing Coveo analytics (e.g., zero-result queries, engagement, click-through rates, and conversion impact).
• Collaborate with Content, UX/UI, SEO, and Digital Product teams to ensure search behavior aligns with content strategy and experience design.
• Work with IT and Architecture teams to facilitate search integrations, ensure indexing accuracy, maintain ingestion stability, and uphold platform health.
• Engage in UAT, regression testing, and release readiness activities for search-related enhancements and platform updates.
• Partner with external stakeholders, including Coveo Customer Success and implementation teams, to troubleshoot issues and promote ongoing optimization.
• Keep search documentation, configuration standards, data dictionaries, and operational guidelines up to date.
• Assist in Service Desk workflows by managing and coordinating search-related incidents and enhancement requests.
• Aid in the collection and documentation of search-related requirements, helping to translate them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration guidance.
• Assist in backlog refinement and prioritization for search relevance, merchandising, analytics, and platform enhancements in conjunction with product and delivery teams.
• Coordinate and support testing activities, such as functional validation, UAT planning and execution, defect triage, and release sign-off for search changes.
• Analyze search analytics and performance data to uncover trends, issues, and optimization opportunities, while supporting reporting and insight requests.
• Ensure continuity of search operations by supporting post-release validation, incident analysis, documentation updates, and analyst coverage as necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree in information systems, Digital, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A total of 5-7 years of experience, including 2-3 years in administering or optimizing enterprise search, discovery, or personalization platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Coveo Search, particularly in merchandising and analytics capabilities, is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to convert data into actionable insights.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teams.
