Digital Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients in the digital space.

• Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Nymbus product suite.

• Conduct all digital general ledger reconciliation tasks, including but not limited to loans, deposits, and accrued interest.

• Execute all functions related to the digital general ledger.

• Address and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.

• Handle federal reserve reconciliations.

• Correct any mapping inconsistencies.

• Aid in the implementation and upkeep of digital client chart of accounts, overseeing new general ledger projects.

• Carry out interest calculations and necessary adjustments.

• Facilitate money movement operations.

• Offer support and conduct research pertaining to reconciliation tasks.

• Proactively seek out and implement improvements across all current operations.

• Manage and address all tickets in accordance with the Rules of Engagement for Digital Operations inquiries.

• Execute any additional related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.

• Prior knowledge of banking compliance regulations and a commitment to adhering to them is preferred.

• Required experience in accounting within a credit union or banking setting.

• General ledger experience is mandatory.

• Preferred experience with general ledger mapping.

• Familiarity with federal reserve reconciliation is preferred.

• Demonstrated development and motivational abilities.

• Strong knowledge of operations support management hardware and software.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Internet Explorer, and Outlook.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Effective public speaking and presentation abilities.

• Strong time management and analytical capabilities.

• Detail-oriented and process-focused.

• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
