This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Assist in evaluating user experience and accessibility.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders.
• Participate in research focused on usability and accessibility.
• Aid teams in enhancing websites, applications, documents, and digital services.
• Work together with university teams to assess digital tools and pinpoint barriers.
• Suggest actionable improvements and assist in the development of accessible digital experiences.
• Proven experience in user experience, usability, accessibility, web design, content design, or user-centered design methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating digital interfaces, websites, applications, or content.
• Strong communication skills for conveying design, usability, accessibility, or technical recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, content creators, product owners, project teams, or other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of digital accessibility concepts, inclusive design principles, usability principles, or WCAG standards.
• Experience in conducting accessibility evaluations using manual testing techniques, assistive technologies, or automated tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with usability testing, user interviews, heuristic reviews, or other user research methods (preferred).
• Experience in creating accessible digital content, websites, applications, design documentation, reports, or training materials (preferred).
• Education: An Associate's Degree is preferred.
