This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
⢠Oversee, coordinate, and implement account-based sales strategies within targeted group practices, IDNs, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and various accounts.
⢠Execute and enhance account-specific initiatives and pull-through strategies.
⢠Cultivate strategic business relationships with key decision-makers and senior management.
⢠Recognize and capitalize on business opportunities to boost sales and market share for CREON and Linzess.
⢠Establish, implement, and convey strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
⢠Facilitate account pull-through and resolve issues in collaboration with field sales management, sales representatives, and cross-functional partners.
⢠Track progress and deliver written and verbal feedback to stakeholders.
⢠Formulate and uphold innovative account strategies to penetrate targeted accounts.
⢠Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across various functions and management levels.
⢠Provide business plans and ongoing opportunity assessments to leadership and field selling teams.
⢠Develop product strategies and guide district teams and sales representatives.
⢠Analyze account dynamics, market factors, business opportunities, and potential threats.
⢠Collaborate with channels and stakeholders to uncover insights and implement high-impact solutions.
⢠Advise sales and marketing management on challenges and opportunities within major accounts.
⢠Create annual business plans with objectives for sales volume and market share growth.
⢠Share insights and best practices to assist sales teams in maximizing account opportunities.
⢠Anticipate changes and take proactive measures to address them.
⢠Utilize knowledge of business negotiations, managed care implications, and customer-environment drivers.
⢠Comply with corporate and divisional compliance policies and guidelines.
⢠A minimum of 5 years of successful selling experience is required, including at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
⢠Familiarity with regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products, including CFR 210/211 and cGMP.
⢠Understanding of the pharmaceutical market, trends, and current issues.
⢠GI experience is preferred.
⢠Comprehensive understanding of account management and the role of an account executive.
⢠Proven sales and customer partnership skills and a successful track record.
⢠Possess strategic, analytical, and technical expertise.
⢠Ability to function effectively in a matrix organization.
⢠Capacity to communicate and collaborate closely with AbbVie selling team members.
⢠Ability to network and partner across functional areas and motivate teams without direct authority.
⢠Capability to drive a personal auto, company vehicle, or powered material handling equipment as required.
⢠Must have a valid driver's license.
⢠Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
⢠Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible for them.
⢠HCIR requirements may include background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.
⢠Preferred: 4ā5 years of successful selling experience.
⢠Preferred: 1ā2 years of experience in account-based pharmaceutical sales.
