Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develops and executes therapeutic nutritional care plans tailored for patients.

• Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team on the nutritional components of patient care.

• Tracks and records patient progress, consulting with physicians when necessary.

• Instructs and offers support to staff, patients, and families regarding dietary and food plans.

• Oversees and provides guidance on dietary operations to ensure that menus adhere to prescribed nutritional guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutritional sciences, clinical nutrition, public health nutrition, or a related field is required.

• Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Licensure as a Registered Dietitian is mandatory as per state regulations.

• A minimum of two years of directly related experience in a hospital environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with current patient diets, food and nutrition research, and safe food handling practices.

• Strong critical thinking abilities are essential.
