This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Develops and executes therapeutic nutritional care plans tailored for patients.
β’ Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team on the nutritional components of patient care.
β’ Tracks and records patient progress, consulting with physicians when necessary.
β’ Instructs and offers support to staff, patients, and families regarding dietary and food plans.
β’ Oversees and provides guidance on dietary operations to ensure that menus adhere to prescribed nutritional guidelines.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in dietetics, nutritional sciences, clinical nutrition, public health nutrition, or a related field is required.
β’ Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
β’ Licensure as a Registered Dietitian is mandatory as per state regulations.
β’ A minimum of two years of directly related experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with current patient diets, food and nutrition research, and safe food handling practices.
β’ Strong critical thinking abilities are essential.
β’ Maintains consistent attendance in alignment with the designated work schedule.
β’ Creates a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
β’ Completes all required training as assigned.
β’ Performs additional duties as necessary to enhance the overall effectiveness of the organization.
