This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +2 more states.
• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Diagnostic products and services.
• Travel to the offices of current and potential clients, aiming for 2-4 visits to existing customers and 2-4 new business opportunities each day. (This role requires considerable driving and occasional overnight travel, approximately 4-8 nights per month, depending on the assigned territory).
• Thoroughly document all interactions with customers and prospects using the online system.
• Transport equipment to customer and prospective client locations.
• Lift, set up, and demonstrate diagnostic solutions, equipment, and features.
• Clearly articulate the uses and advantages of diagnostic products and services; respond to inquiries; effectively communicate the "value proposition."
• Secure purchase orders for diagnostic products and services.
• Provide continuous customer support by assisting clients (in person, via phone, and through email) with product, technical, or service-related issues, conducting periodic courtesy calls, keeping clients updated on new products and services (including possible updates to existing instrumentation), and collaborating as necessary with sales, accounting, and technical teams to ensure customer inquiries and needs are addressed promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with the Diagnostic Technical Specialists to ensure exceptional customer service and maximize utilization.
• Generate new business and lead opportunities, including placing instruments in competitor accounts, academia, and research settings, while gathering referrals from existing clients.
• Assist with billing and collection efforts.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, or relevant technical/clinical experience, preferably within the medical, scientific, or healthcare sectors.
• At least an Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred); ideally with a focus on science or business, or equivalent experience.
• A valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, and auto insurance are required.
• Must be fluent in English.
