This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

• Assess the functioning of clients and their families.

• Communicate the mental health services provided by ACE Wellness and involve families, youth, and relevant agencies.

• Gather current insurance details to confirm service coverage and benefits.

• Stay updated on DSM-V diagnoses and suggest appropriate treatment options and levels of care.

• Conduct mental health diagnostic evaluations and establish a diagnosis based on DSM-V criteria.

• Outline the primary treatment challenges and anticipated outcomes.

• Complete all documentation within required timelines.

• Participate in all mandatory staff training sessions and meetings.

• Ensure consistent and dependable attendance.

• May assist in the planning, organization, and execution of special events or department-specific initiatives or seasonal program modifications.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, along with an Ohio LSW or LPC, is the minimum educational requirement for a diagnostic assessor.

• Preference will be given to candidates with an LISW or LPCC.

• A Master’s degree is the minimum educational qualification for psychological assessors or licensed psychologists.

• Must possess an Ohio LPC.

• Enrollment in a psychology doctoral program is required.

• Candidates must be license-eligible through the Ohio State Board of Psychology.

• A valid Ohio Driver’s License and a clean driving record are necessary.

• Proficiency in English reading and writing is mandatory.

• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality are essential.

• Ability to work flexible hours is required.

• Competency in typing and computer usage, including Windows applications for documenting case notes and other administrative tasks, is necessary.
