DevSecOps Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain secure CI/CD pipelines for standard services on OCI.

• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Ansible, YAML, and Terraform for provisioning, configuration oversight, and compliance enforcement.

• Architect, deploy, and oversee Kubernetes or OCI Container Engine workloads, covering cluster setup, scheduling, secrets management, and runtime security.

• Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and container image scanning within CI/CD pipelines.

• Set up and uphold automated unit, integration, regression, and performance testing frameworks.

• Enforce coding standards, branching strategies, and Git version-control governance.

• Embed DoD RMF controls and security compliance assessments into CI/CD workflows.

• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Lead/ISSO on security compliance for artifacts, images, and services.

• Lead the onboarding of DevSecOps toolchain, along with associated training and standards adoption.

• Monitor pipeline efficiency, test coverage, and deployment frequency; provide reports to the Program Manager and Government stakeholders.

• Support the alignment of OCI platform architecture, including OCI DevOps, Artifact Registry, and Vault.

• Develop automated workflows for patching, configuration compliance, and vulnerability remediation for continuous support.

• Implement automated pipelines for AI/ML model training, validation, and deployment.

• Evaluate existing tools and transition to the team's DevSecOps toolchain without causing operational disruptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or software delivery engineering.

• Proficient in YAML.

• Practical experience with Ansible.

• Strong knowledge of Git-based version control and branching/merge strategies.

• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, including state management, module design, and automated compliance enforcement.

• Proven experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes, including cluster administration, Helm charts, namespace management, and workload security.

• Experience in integrating SAST, DAST, and security scanning tools into automated pipelines.

• Background in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks for web services, APIs, or enterprise applications.

• Understanding of DoD RMF, ATO processes, and security compliance in development and deployment pipelines.

• Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance upon starting and maintain it for the program.

• An active DoD 8140/8570 IAT-II or higher certification is required at the time of hire.

• Preferred: Active Top Secret clearance.

• Preferred: Experience with FlexDeploy for Oracle technology deployments.

• Preferred: Experience in DISA-managed or Cloud One cloud environments, including IL4/IL5 and FedRAMP.

• Preferred: Familiarity with OCI DevOps, OKE, OCI Artifact Registry, or OCI Vault.

• Preferred: Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Fusion Middleware, or Oracle database.

• Preferred: Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Postman/Newman, JMeter, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.

• Preferred: Experience in Oracle or Java security scanning.

• Preferred: CKA, Terraform Associate, OCI DevOps, or DoD 8140 certifications.

• Preferred: Experience with AFLCMC, BES Directorate, or DoD ERP programs.

• Preferred: Experience in Agile/SAFe and sprint-based DevSecOps methodologies.
