DevSecOps Engineer, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide administration, maintenance, and enhancement support for CI/CD pipelines in AWS cloud environments.

• Aid in the development of Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Oversee cloud environments and react to operational alerts and incidents.

• Assist with automated deployment, patching, backup, and recovery operations.

• Engage in automation projects aimed at minimizing operational toil and enhancing deployment consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication is required prior to onboarding.

• Preference will be given to candidates with an active Public Trust or suitability.

• US Citizenship is a contractual requirement.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is necessary.

• A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience is required.

• Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration is essential.

• A basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts is needed.

• Familiarity with Git, Python, PowerShell, Bash, and CI/CD tools is required.

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Certification is a plus.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana is beneficial.

• Experience in Agile environments is a plus.

• Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps is advantageous.

• Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
