This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Maintain a robust public presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and developer forums.

• Create various types of content including documentation, blogs, screencasts, walkthroughs, and short-form social media updates focused on developers.

• Develop developer-oriented content in our primary areas: headless and visual editing (UVE), AI-driven developer workflows (dotAI, MCP), and innovative search (GEO).

• Experience in producing technical content, videos, blogs, tutorials, how-to guides, and developer relations articles tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences using dotCMS.

• Organize and engage in programming events, developer webinars, and foster online community interaction.

• Expand the dotCMS developer community through proactive content creation and engagement on the Community Forum, GitHub, and social media—not limited to moderation.

• Conduct in-depth technical research and stay informed about emerging technologies to shape content and community strategies.

• Work closely with Engineering, Design, Product & Marketing teams to ensure documentation is aligned with platform updates and developer requirements.

• Provide technical insights to product and engineering teams based on interactions with the community.

• Oversee the rhythm of developer-facing content and community growth metrics; report against established baselines and targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of practical coding experience in Frontend JavaScript (preferably React, Angular, or Next.js); ability to read and write code comfortably.

• Proficient in building against REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication flows, and SDK integration—not just consuming them.

• Familiarity with Java is advantageous (dotCMS is Java-based).

• Strong understanding of documentation tools, content management systems, and/or marketing technologies.

• Previous experience in technical writing, ideally within a SaaS, devtool, or CMS setting.

• Comfortable on camera and with public speaking—this position involves livestreaming, video production, and community-facing events.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

• Active GitHub profile and/or social media presence demonstrating involvement in developer communities or projects.

• Inquisitive, proactive, and self-motivated with a “builder” mindset.

• A strong sense of curiosity, a passion for learning, and a readiness to dive in and experiment.

• The ability to ask questions that may seem “silly” is highly valued!

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

🏝️ Benefits

• PTO policy (after the initial 90 days with the company).

• A generous number of local company-paid holidays.

• Annual company-sponsored training and development opportunities.
