This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Developing consistent written and video content that focuses on API management, observability, AI/API topics, and real-world customer implementation experiences.
• Participating in and presenting at developer meetups and community gatherings throughout Western Europe, aiming for weekly or bi-weekly engagements.
• Creating and sustaining technical documentation that is appealing and useful for developers.
• Providing coverage on ecosystem integrations and practical guides, including EKS setup, Grafana optimization, OpenTelemetry, and more.
• Building genuine relationships with developer communities both online and offline.
• Sharing community feedback with product and marketing teams to enhance offerings.
• Experience
• - A degree in computer science or a comparable technical background (while you don't need to be a senior engineer, the ability to read code, understand architecture, and engage in hands-on work is essential).
• - Some background in content creation—whether through writing, video production, presentations, or a combination—regardless of whether it's from personal projects or academic work.
• - Comfort in speaking to small groups; attending meetups and community events should excite you rather than intimidate you.
• - A sincere interest in the API and infrastructure landscape.
• Skills and attributes
• - Technical proficiency – you learn quickly, communicate effectively, and can delve deep when necessary.
• - A creative mindset – you are eager to create and share your work with the world.
• - Genuine communication style – people trust you because of your authenticity, not a polished persona.
• - Willingness to travel regularly across Western Europe as part of the role.
• - Motivated, self-directed, and thrive in a small team environment.
• - A passion for AI/API domains and their future directions.
• - AI-savvy. Utilizes AI frequently, if not daily, while discerning between AI-assisted tasks and low-quality AI output.
• Nice to have:
• - Established presence in developer communities (blog, YouTube, GitHub, conference presentations).
• - Practical experience with Kubernetes, observability tools, or CI/CD pipelines.
• - Familiarity with API management principles.
• Here’s why you should consider joining us:
