This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the touchpoints throughout the complete journey of engineers, operators, and platform teams utilizing Flox.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop integrations, demos, tutorials, and technical documentation that demonstrate Flox in environments similar to production, ensuring smooth adoption.
• Offer field-level technical assistance during pilot programs or early assessments, enabling prospective teams to achieve success rapidly.
• Create and maintain an inclusive, knowledgeable community across platforms such as GitHub, Discord, LinkedIn, Reddit, BlueSky, X, and other professional forums.
• Organize workshops, office hours, and community events that connect users directly with Flox engineers, transforming users into advocates.
• Establish partnerships with leading developer tools and platforms to incorporate Flox into the daily products engineers utilize.
• Represent Flox at conferences, panels, podcasts, and meetups by sharing narratives and use cases that link technology to human impact.
• Produce content (tutorials, case studies, blog posts, livestreams) that educates and generates new interest in Flox.
• Develop agents and automations for ongoing marketing tasks — such as monitoring competitor activities, tracking brand sentiment, generating targeted content, or adapting long-form content into formats suitable for various channels.
• Over 6 years of experience in Developer Relations, software engineering, or solutions engineering roles.
• Strong technical skills and comfortable building and delivering functional demos, integrations, and automation projects (using Go, Python, Rust, or shell).
• Proven experience collaborating across departments such as Engineering, Product, and Sales to advance technical discussions towards adoption.
• In-depth knowledge of software delivery, CI/CD, reproducibility, or platform engineering.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities, both in writing and in public speaking.
• Highly self-directed — capable of managing priorities and executing tasks with accountability.
• Bonus Points For:
• Familiarity with Nix or reproducible build systems.
• Experience with platform or infrastructure products in enterprise environments.
• Previous roles bridging DevRel and go-to-market teams (technical enablement, field demos, early proof-of-concepts).
• Contributions to open-source developer tools.
• Experience developing production marketing or GTM systems using LLM-based agents.
• Understanding of AI search optimization (AEO) and the impact of LLM-based discovery surfaces on buyer behavior.
• Travel: 20-40% depending on location
