DevOps/SRE Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and develop applications using Java and/or Python.

• Develop and enhance PaaS (Platform as a Service) solutions.

• Create and maintain Dockerfiles and container images, including multistage builds.

• Generate YAML files for deploying applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift.

• Configure resources such as Pods, Services, Ingress, Deployments, and Secrets.

• Troubleshoot Java and Python applications deployed on Kubernetes.

• Analyze and resolve issues in Cloud environments and containerized applications.

• Transform and modernize legacy applications into microservices architectures.

• Collaborate with development, application, and support teams using DevOps methodologies and philosophy.

• Utilize version control and source code management tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Kubernetes and Cloud environments.

• At least 2 years of experience in one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or PHP.

• Experience troubleshooting Java and/or Python applications on Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.

• Experience in creating images, Dockerfiles, and multistage builds.

• Knowledge related to Kubernetes: Pods, Services, Ingress, Deployments, and Secrets.

• Experience in creating deployment and service YAML files.

• Proficiency in version control tools, particularly Git.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle complex technical problems.
