This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS EKS and ECS environments.
• Design, maintain, and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate operational processes, support routines, and infrastructure tasks using Shell Script and Python.
• Implement and advance monitoring, observability, and performance analysis solutions with Dynatrace.
• Provide support and analysis for .NET and Node.js applications, identifying bottlenecks, errors, and areas for enhancement.
• Manage and resolve issues related to AWS services, including EC2, VPC, Load Balancers, and other infrastructure components.
• Lead the management, investigation, and resolution of critical incidents, ensuring quick service recovery.
• Collaborate with Development, Architecture, and Operations teams to enhance reliability, automation, and continuous improvement practices.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for security, networking, and connectivity within AWS environments.
• Engage in root cause analyses (RCA), suggesting preventive and corrective actions.
• Support technology modernization, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives in cloud environments.
• Contribute to the advancement of SRE, DevOps, and observability practices within the project.
• Extensive experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS.
• Practical experience with EKS and ECS.
• Proficiency with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Automation capabilities with Python and Shell Script.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace and other observability tools.
• Knowledge of .NET and Node.js applications.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, ELB/ALB, and other infrastructure components.
• Proven track record in managing and mitigating critical incidents.
• Understanding of security, networking, and connectivity in cloud environments.
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis (RCA).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automation methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields.
• Preferred: experience with advanced SRE practices.
• Preferred: experience with Kubernetes in large enterprise settings.
• Preferred: understanding of cost optimization in AWS environments (FinOps).
• Preferred: experience with advanced observability and APM.
• Preferred: experience in critical, high-availability environments.
• Preferred: AWS certifications.
• Preferred: knowledge of Azure DevOps.
• Preferred: experience with AI-enabled DevOps & AMS initiatives.
