DevOps, Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Construct and manage a dependable cloud infrastructure and configuration management framework that caters to development, testing, and production settings.

• Automate the processes of building, testing, and deploying software to facilitate rapid, secure, and consistent releases.

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines that enable engineering teams to deliver software effectively.

• Utilize monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain platform stability, performance, and operational visibility.

• Provide support for platform services, integrations, and event-driven components to ensure vital systems operate seamlessly.

• Apply secure operational methodologies, including secrets management, to safeguard infrastructure, services, and sensitive information.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to continually enhance automation, reliability, and the overall platform experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical area; alternatively, equivalent professional experience.

• Several years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or a similar technical setting.

• Proficiency in working with cloud environments, Linux systems, and infrastructure automation using tools such as Azure, Ansible, or comparable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms like Kafka or related technologies.

• Solid understanding of automated build, test, and deployment workflows, as well as containerized applications utilizing Docker and contemporary CI/CD solutions.

• Experienced in monitoring and managing reliable production systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or equivalent solutions.

• A structured, proactive, and ownership-oriented mindset with a strong emphasis on reliability, automation, and ongoing improvement.

• Proficient in English (C1) for both written and verbal communication.
