DevOps Engineer – Tieto Tech Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a DevSecOps Agile team.

• Contribute to a centralized checksum-based artifact repository service utilizing the JFrog Platform (Artifactory & Xray) along with custom plugins.

• Provide support for multiple production environments, concentrating on platform infrastructure maintenance, automation of deployment and upgrades, service monitoring, incident resolution, and operational assistance for users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux, including shell scripting capabilities.

• Proficient in various software package managers (rpm, war, docker, helm, npm, etc.).

• Skilled in reading, understanding, and troubleshooting Java applications/JVM (including thread dumps, heap dumps, stack traces, etc.).

• Experienced in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, shell, groovy).

• Expertise with servlet containers such as Tomcat.

• Proficient in Web Services (REST/SOAP).

• Good understanding of relational databases (Postgres/SQL).

• Experience in microservice management and deployment (Docker).

• Familiarity with CI/CD testing frameworks and end-to-end testing.

• Front-end development experience (Apache, Nginx) is a plus.

• Knowledge of version control tools (Git, Gerrit).

• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot Java applications on live systems (CheckMK, Prometheus/Grafana, VisualVM, JConsole, Glowroot).
