DevOps Engineer, Siebel Platform Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Deliver operational support, administrative tasks, maintenance, and deployment functions for the Oracle Siebel CRM platform across both production and non-production settings.

• Conduct daily platform monitoring, administrative duties, incident and problem resolution, and execute approved release and deployment processes.

• Collaborate with relevant technical teams, including DBA, OS, Network, Infrastructure, and Vendor Support teams.

• Oversee the health and availability of Oracle Siebel CRM components, such as Gateway, Enterprise Server, and Siebel Servers.

• Manage Siebel users, which includes account creation and deactivation, as well as assigning and updating access configurations.

• Assist with approved deployment and release activities, participating in release processes according to the established release calendar.

• Investigate and analyze incidents related to infrastructure and the Siebel platform, supporting root cause identification for recurring platform issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in administering Oracle Siebel CRM platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of Siebel components, including Gateway, Enterprise Server, Siebel Servers, Server Tasks, Workflow Policies, and EAI queues.

• Experience in log monitoring, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.

• Familiarity with Siebel deployment and release processes, including repository migrations, SRF deployments, non-SRF changes, and Manifest updates.

• Experience in managing users and access within Siebel, encompassing Responsibilities, Positions, and Organizations.

• Knowledge of incident management, problem management, escalation processes, and operational support best practices.

• Capacity to collaborate efficiently with DBA, OS, Network, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams.
