DevOps Engineer, Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Partner with cross-functional teams to create efficient cloud and infrastructure solutions addressing both business and technical challenges.

• Utilize CICD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and TeamCity to enhance development and deployment workflows.

• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting in languages like Python, Bash, C#, and others.

• Engage with AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, DynamoDB, ECS, and IAM, to design, configure, and sustain a secure and robust cloud environment.

• Provide continuous support to various teams regarding cloud and infrastructure requirements; off-hours incident assistance may be occasionally necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of practical AWS experience (EC2, S3, VPC, DynamoDB, IAM, ECS, Lambda); adept at debugging and navigating complex AWS architectures.

• Demonstrated experience with CICD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity), including the creation and migration of pipelines.

• Skilled in scripting languages (Python, Bash, C#) with experience in task automation within Linux environments.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and extensive knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar certification is preferred or considered advantageous.

• GitLab Certified CI/CD Associate.
