DevOps Engineer – m/w/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establishing and further developing modern infrastructure.

• Integrating DevOps principles sustainably into the daily development routine.

• Creating automated workflows, version strategies, and deployment processes.

• Actively participating in the development of our Kotlin-based services.

• Automating infrastructure configurations using Ansible.

• Automating build, deployment, and monitoring processes with CI/CD tools.

• Implementing transparent monitoring and alerting solutions using Grafana, Loki, and LibreNMS.

• Driving the evaluation and implementation of AI-driven tools and workflows.

• Discussing and documenting technical standards and architectural decisions within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or build and deployment automation.

• Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), server, and network configuration.

• Experience with Docker, Ansible, and ideally Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.

• Familiarity with the setup and operation of public/private cloud architectures.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Proficiency in monitoring and logging solutions like Grafana, Loki, or similar tools.

• Enjoyment in development-related work and willingness to understand and adjust Kotlin code and Gradle builds as needed.

• A structured, analytical working style along with a passion for sharing knowledge and collaboratively developing solutions.

• Knowledge of Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL, or in the area of security and compliance is advantageous, but not a requirement.
