This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee and support AWS cloud infrastructure, encompassing compute, networking, storage, and IAM.
• Establish and enhance observability using Datadog or similar tools.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering teams to refine deployment workflows and boost developer productivity.
• Optimize release processes.
• Ensure that infrastructure is secure, resilient, and aligned with business continuity objectives.
• Diagnose production issues and engage in incident response activities.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and spearhead improvements to mitigate risks and enhance uptime.
• Document infrastructure, procedures, and operational best practices.
• Assess and propose enhancements to DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Provide support to internal Engineering teams and customer-facing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the Senior DevOps Engineer and colleagues across the Engineering team.
• Over 3 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering position.
• Experience preferably in a SaaS or product-oriented environment.
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Proficient in Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and workflows such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of observability tools like Datadog or Prometheus.
• Experience with Python or Bash scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with networking, Unix-based system administration, and cloud security fundamentals.
• Capability to troubleshoot complex systems and support production environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive attitude towards action, continuous learning, and practical problem-solving.
• Comfort in working independently and asynchronously while valuing collaboration.
• Experience in AI is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Vanta and SOC 2 compliance is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada, excluding Quebec.
