This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Implement and support a CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that security practices are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Assist in DevSecOps initiatives to deliver a demand model that leverages continuous processes to minimize defects while enhancing productivity and accelerating time-to-market.
• Help establish guidelines, standards, and strategies for the CI/CD pipeline.
• Communicate effectively with development teams to ensure compliance with CI/CD guidelines and standard DevSecOps protocols.
• Support the technical planning, configuration, integration, verification, and validation of the pipeline toolchain.
• Implement automated solutions to enhance system performance and reliability, including scripting and resolving issues related to the CI/CD pipeline toolchain.
• Quickly grasp business workflows, technical architecture, and the dependent systems of the supported services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate various DevSecOps practices into the CI/CD implementation.
• Diagnose issues within the pipeline and provide effective solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in DevSecOps.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our DevSecOps processes and tools.
• Support the integration of security measures throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
• Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for DevSecOps processes and tools.
• Over 5 years of experience in software development or related areas.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in supporting DevOps/DevSecOps to reengineer and automate the software development process.
• Familiarity with the technical aspects of DevSecOps techniques, including continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Proficient in distributed source control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with dependency management tools.
• Knowledge of leading CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TFS.
• Understanding of Pipeline as Code scripting technologies.
• Familiarity with industry-standard Static Code Analysis (SCA) tools like SonarQube, Nexus IQ Server, or Fortify.
• Practical experience in integrating SCA tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Knowledge of open-source tools for test automation, such as Selenium.
• Experience in large software development programs using Agile methodologies (preferably SAFe).
• Experience implementing DevSecOps for cloud-based systems in modernization programs.
• Familiarity with Cloud Service Platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker-compose.
• Familiarity with Container Management Platforms, including OpenShift.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of Continuous Monitoring tools like the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash/Fluentd, Kibana).
• Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or security.
