This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, construct, maintain, and continuously enhance infrastructure across development, QA, and production settings.
• Create and sustain automated CI/CD pipelines for dependable and efficient application delivery.
• Automate the deployment, configuration, provisioning, scaling, and operational processes of applications.
• Develop and uphold Infrastructure as Code utilizing CloudFormation, Chef, or comparable technologies.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, providing secondary support for Azure, including containerized workloads and application environments.
• Prioritize infrastructure availability, reliability, scalability, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Utilize AWS services such as VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, Systems Manager, and Patch Manager.
• Create scripts and automation to enhance AWS capabilities and boost operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; develop alerting and troubleshooting solutions.
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, security, backup, and recovery functionalities.
• Work with Grafana, LogStash, Kibana, Elasticsearch, or similar observability technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and production-related issues.
• Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API applications.
• Participate in performance testing and reliability initiatives for web applications.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, QA, Product Delivery, and Operations teams.
• Mentor and assist engineers and QA teams in automation tools, CI/CD processes, and DevOps practices.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives that enhance deployment speed, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Apply consistent DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle to ensure end-to-end quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Development, Cloud Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or a related area.
• Practical experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in automating deployment, configuration, and infrastructure processes.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools like Git, TeamCity, Octopus, ArgoCD, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Experience with network infrastructure, databases, cloud environments, data center operations, and security protocols.
• Proven proficiency in at least one high-level programming language.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, TypeScript, Perl, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments.
• Experience in creating and maintaining cloud-based development, testing, and production environments.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, system performance, reliability, security, and disaster recovery practices.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies for web applications is a plus.
• Experience supporting Web, Mobile, and API applications is a plus.
• Experience working on Scrum or Kanban teams is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS Systems Manager, Patch Manager, and other AWS operational tools is a plus.
