DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deploy and oversee New Relic APM, infrastructure, and browser agents across AWS services.

• Create standardized alert policies and dashboards utilizing Terraform.

• Spearhead the migration to GitHub Enterprise and integrate Advanced Security features.

• Design and manage Jira projects, workflows, automation rules, and permissions.

• Develop domain-level cost dashboards by leveraging AWS, New Relic, and SaaS data.

• Create reusable Terraform modules, GitHub Actions workflows, and engineering templates.

• Manage shared AWS infrastructure, including provisioning, access control, and networking.

• Triage Dependabot PRs, optimize alerts, and create/run operational runbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, or Developer Productivity.

• Practical experience with observability platforms at scale (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, or similar).

• Organizational-level experience with GitHub.

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

• Production experience with AWS services such as IAM, S3, and Lambda.

• Experience with Terraform (or similar Infrastructure as Code tools).

• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python or Bash.

• Excellent written communication skills.
