This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Work collaboratively with Feature Development teams to efficiently promote new component versions into production.
• Ensure the system meets agreed-upon service levels and availability targets by utilizing real-time monitoring tools and system-generated metrics.
• Implement new system metrics and alerts to proactively address issues and enhance performance.
• Address monitoring alerts and customer incidents, taking preventive and corrective actions to minimize customer impact.
• Coordinate with key customer stakeholders to schedule capability changes and gather new service requirements as they emerge.
• Utilize automation techniques to alleviate the demands of manual operations.
• Proficient in infrastructure automation tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experienced in working with Docker containers and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker Swarm.
• Familiar with using and maintaining CI/CD tools, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Proficient in Linux command line, administration, and shell scripting.
• Deep knowledge of monitoring, auto-scaling, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Working familiarity with network security protocols.
• Knowledgeable in AWS.
• Experience with monitoring tools like InfluxDB, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Fully remote.
