This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Contribute to a centralized artifact repository service based on checksums, utilizing the JFrog Platform (Artifactory & Xray) along with custom plugins.
• Support multiple production environments.
• Focus on the maintenance of platform infrastructure.
• Automate deployment and upgrades.
• Monitor services effectively.
• Resolve incidents promptly.
• Provide operational support for users.
• Collaborate within a DevSecOps Agile team.
• Utilize a diverse range of technologies, including Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, Linux, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Docker, Ansible, and test automation frameworks.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux, encompassing shell scripting.
• Proficient with various software package managers (rpm, war, docker, helm, npm, etc.).
• Skilled in reading, understanding, and troubleshooting Java applications and the JVM (including thread dumps, heap dumps, stack traces, etc.).
• Proficient in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, shell, groovy).
• Experienced with servlet containers such as Tomcat.
• Proficient with Web Services (REST/SOAP).
• Good knowledge of relational databases (Postgres/SQL).
• Experienced in microservice management and deployment using Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD testing frameworks and E2E testing will be advantageous.
• Experience in front-end development (Apache, Nginx).
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Gerrit).
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot Java applications in live systems (using tools like CheckMK, Prometheus/Grafana, VisualVM, JConsole, Glowroot).
