This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes utilizing GitHub Actions, container registries, and the deployment pipelines essential for application teams.
• Enhance and manage Kubernetes environments across various regions, overseeing releases with Helm and Flux.
• Create reusable Terraform and Ansible modules to ensure infrastructure consistency, version control, and ease of adoption for teams.
• Broaden the capabilities of the self-service platform, enabling application teams to provision, deploy, and monitor their own services within established guidelines.
• Improve observability and reliability through DataDog, contributing to the definition of SLOs, alerting mechanisms, and on-call practices that maintain service health.
• Assist in the ongoing migration to Azure, from architectural decisions to implementation.
• Collaborate closely with cloud service providers, especially Azure, to manage relationships, capacity, and costs, ensuring robust support for the platform and its users.
• Integrate fully as a member of the client's DevOps, infrastructure, and core engineering teams, rather than serving as an external contributor.
• Engage in strategic and architectural discussions, advocating for enhancements that improve the overall engineering organization’s development and deployment processes.
• Proficiency in:
• - GitHub CI/CD, container registries, and upstream/downstream systems.
• - Kubernetes across various environments and regions, including Helm and Flux (or Argo).
• - Azure (Azure Cloud, DevOps, Artifacts, Container Registry) or a similar Cloud Provider.
• - Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with:
• - AI agents.
• - Linux.
• - Python or Bash.
• - Docker.
• - DataDog.
• - Managing databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week).
• Standard working hours with occasional adjustments to ensure sufficient overlap with the client, who operates on GMT (London) and US Eastern time (New York). Anticipate at least 3 hours of daily overlap.
