DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Ensure exceptional deployment practices across a distributed AWS microservices architecture.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, Tech Leads, and centralized DevOps units.

• Develop a dependable, scalable, and automated software delivery framework.

• Design, scale, and sustain enterprise-grade pipelines while automating cloud infrastructure provisioning.

• Oversee cluster availability, security, networking, ingress, and service mesh traffic management.

• Facilitate cross-team releases, Git branching methodologies, and database version control/rollback procedures.

• Create platform monitoring, logging, and metrics dashboards, while assisting with incident response and root-cause analysis (RCA).

• Work alongside Dev Leads to eliminate deployment hurdles, ensure alignment on infrastructure standards, and manage cross-service dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) supporting production microservices on Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in AWS and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio (preferred), and Envoy Proxy (preferred).

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, Git, and Jenkins (preferred).

• Knowledge of Nexus Repository, Amazon ECR, and Liquibase (for database schema migrations).

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Fluent Bit, Prometheus, Grafana, and Amazon CloudWatch.

• Skills in SonarQube, Playwright, Jest, Bash, and Node.js (preferred).

• Understanding of Apigee X, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and Kubernetes-based platforms.

• Strong communication skills, proactive risk management abilities, and a dedication to operational excellence.
