DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable Azure infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Develop and oversee CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated deployments and release workflows.

• Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and guarantee high availability of environments.

• Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to enhance build and release processes.

• Implement security best practices and compliance standards across cloud platforms.

• Create and update documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations.

• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis when required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related position.

• Strong practical experience with Azure services and architecture.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

• Solid scripting abilities in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell.

• Proficient knowledge of Linux servers and system administration.

• Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code principles with hands-on experience in Ansible.

• Experience managing or interacting with Nexus Repository Manager.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of change management processes and best practices.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders.

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Capability to operate independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Nice-to-Have: Experience with Rancher or similar container management platforms.

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration tools.

• Experience in Agile environments.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
